The New Individualist, March 2007

Volume 10: No. 3

“Objectivists are not ‘conservatives.’ We are radicals for capitalism; we are fighting for that philosophical base which capitalism did not have and without which it was doomed to perish. . . .”

                         —Ayn Rand, “Choose Your Issues”

                             The Objectivist Newsletter, January 1962

OUR COVER

The conservative movement is officially dead. I wonder if most of the people whose names appear on that tombstone even got the memo? Well, I’m sure they’ll hear the news now, thanks to the ghoulish creativity of art director David Sims. But please, Messrs. Buckley, Kristol, Weyrich, et al.: Try not to get angry at David. As the fellows at Monty Python would say: “He’s a cruel man—but fair.”
